Fundraiser completed! Our heartfelt gratitude to all donors!
 
On the occasion of Children's Day 2021, we have pledged to donate games and sports equipment (indoor games like chess & ludo, ourdoor sports equipment for volleyball, football, badminton, cricket, etc.) to the children of SOS Children's Village, Alibag.
 
As part of our initiative of "LRMC - Let's Ride for Meaningful Causes", we are organizing a breakfast ride to Alibag on Sunday, 14th November 2021. In parallel, we will organize and donate all equipment at SOS Children's Village on the same day.
 
We have planned a budget of approx. INR 15000 for this fundraiser, which we have divided into 50 units or "donation blocks" of INR 300 each. Effectively, we need 50 generous and good-hearted people to come forward and support this initiative.
 
The SOS Children’s Village in Alibaug, near Mumbai, started its activities in the year 2010. There are 14 Family Homes at the facility where children are placed under the care of SOS Mothers, two SOS Aunts and two SOS Mother Trainees. Once a child is welcomed in the SOS Family, all necessary efforts are made to cater to his/her emotional and physical needs. Children are placed under the loving care of an SOS Mother and are also helped to get acquainted with other children in the family home.
